The Annotations icon (shown in red below) sits at the bottom of the Media Window. It allows
you to add notes to course media at the Topic level. Your annotation will be visible only to those
students accessing your custom HippoCampus URL.
When logged in, clicking the icon opens an Annotations dialog screen. Add your note to the text
box, and then click the Update button to save your note:
You may also insert HTML coding into the text box to customize your message. Students will be
able to see your annotation by clicking the same icon within the Topic window from the student
view. Annotated media objects/Topics can be particularly powerful in custom Playlists.
