Can Peer Reviews Hold Up a Student's Progress?

Question: If a student is waiting for a peer to review their draft, would this cause them to be unable to move forward in the writing process? If so, how would I get around that so that a student could submit their work?

Answer: Yes, students are blocked from proceeding with their writing process until all reviews on the current draft are complete. This includes both instructor and peer reviews. You can learn more about how to unblock students by reassigning the peer review to another student or canceling it entirely.
