Using HippoCampus on Mobile Devices

HippoCampus.org displays a mix of Flash and non-Flash media. Learn more about the sunsetting of Adobe® Flash in 2020.

To display only the non-Flash media available at HippoCampus.org, use the mobile version of the site:

https://mobile.hippocampus.org

For iOS devices, HippoCampus.org attempts to automatically route you to the mobile version. Android users will need to go directly to https://mobile.hippocampus.org.

The links to full NROC courses are not available at the mobile version of HippoCampus.

Please keep in mind that the videos may load slowly on mobile devices due to network speed limitations. Please be patient. You may see a white screen while the video loads.

NOTE: On the standard (non-mobile) version of HippoCampus.org, Android devices will display links to, but will not properly play, the Flash content in the courses; possible exceptions are older versions of Android or newer versions in which Flash has been installed. We do not directly support those modified devices.

It may be possible to view more resources on a mobile device by using a Flash-compatible browser, such as Puffin or Dolphin. NROC does not support these browsers, and they may not be free. Search your device's app repository for "Flash browser" to find options applicable to your device.
