Will a teacher be required to grade the writing assignments?

We strongly recommend that a teacher grade the writing assignments. There are 10 total writing assignments in the course – one for each unit. An instructor will also need to grade the constructed response (short answer) questions in the Review and Unit Assessment (if the school has chosen to include those questions). The teacher is not expected to grade the students’ My Journal entries generated in the Pre-Reading, Post-Reading, or Pre-Writing activities but can always access them to review.
