How does this course get integrated into a Learning Management System (LMS)?

The course is installed via an IMSCC (Common Cartridge) file that is downloaded and installed by your school's LMS administrator.

Each unit of the course includes a quiz that is integrated with the LMS. Student grades on quizzes are maintained in the LMS grade book. 

All other course data is stored and tracked via the NROC Course Manager, which is a proprietary and LMS-agnostic system, which allows us to share much more data than if we were constrained by what each LMS may or may not support.
