EdReady displays a "Recommended study time" for every unit shown on the student's study path. The time shown is equal to the sum of 30 minutes per unmastered topic. The resulting recommendation is intended to provide a basic guideline for students so that they understand that it takes time to master all of the concepts in each topic, and that time adds up quickly.
The actual time needed for each student will vary, and students should know that this recommended time does not include time that might be needed for mastery checks or any further review. Students who query the Help Center about this metric will see this article.
